About Beverley
After falling for the charms of an Irishman in London, Drogheda has been our home since 2004.
Although my professional background is in the corporate sector, I embarked on my first upcycling venture in the early 1990's (long before I knew what upcycling was). Always with a keen interest in DIY and interiors, this became a back seat to a full time job and later on raising two children.
Since moving to Ireland, however, I have renewed my passion for painting unloved items of furniture. Starting, initially as a hobby until branching out into a full-time business.
As I get older and wiser, I find myself appreciating the world around us and I strive to do 'my bit' for the future of my children and the planet. Reusing, recycling and recreating old into new is more than just upcycling.
Every year our nation alone discards €1000's worth of unloved pieces into landfill just because our styles and trends continuously change. Don't let that be you anymore!
With a little bit of imagination and care, your unloved, dated furniture can become a revamped and attractive part of your home once more. Whether it's something that you can do yourself or enlist the help of someone like me - think twice before you throw away your perfectly good item(s) of furniture.
Not only is that good for your pocket, but good for the environment too!
